I am super excited about this topic today because I work with mostly female entrepreneurs and professional women who are super driven, highly goal-oriented, type A personalities who’ve had to become pretty good at managing other people especially when it comes to their businesses.
But unfortunately, these type A personality traits don’t always work in our interpersonal relationships. I find clients admitting that they approach their relationships with the same level of demands and expectations that they have for themselves or for their employees and business associates. Which are mostly unrealistic demands for how the other person in their relationship is expected to perform- I call this The Script.
